Description F Scheltens 2018-12-06 12:38:16 UTC
Hi,

I was using Kdenlive and checking out some sound samples from online sources.
The volume in my headphones was higher that i wanted, but there is no way inside kdenlive to change the volume of the sound in general, only for individual clips.
The only way to turn it down was to change the volume on the debian menu bar,

I would like to see a way to control the master volume inside kdenlive, instead of having to change a OS setting to suit an application.

Audio Mastering is on the whishlist.

As a workaround: drag/drop the “volume (keyframable)” effect on the audio track “head” (where the loudspeaker symbol is). Then you can control this track with the effect slider.

Audio master is implemented in 19.12.3.
