When running the appimage version of kdenlive, the generators under Project->Generators are listed twice. I guess that one list is from the generators of the host and one from the appimage. At least in my kdenlive version installed via ubuntu packages (17.12.3), the generators are listed only once. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Launch kdenlive from appimage 2. Go to Project->Generators OBSERVED RESULT Generators listed twice. EXPECTED RESULT Generators listed only once. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS kdenlive 18.08.3 in appimage, MLT 6.11.0, KDE frameworks 5.49.0, Qt 5.11.2 host system is ubuntu bionic
delete/rename: ~/.local/share/kxmlgui5/kdenlive/kdenliveui.rc : contains the toolbar configuration And try again. here some more info: https://community.kde.org/Kdenlive/Configuration
