Description Roman Odaisky 2018-12-03 17:56:07 UTC
SUMMARY
With Amarok OSD (not knotify), pressing the Next or Previous hotkeys cause the OSD to show the current volume, even though nothing changed it. This is a regression, as previous versions showed the next song’s title in this case, which is the natural thing to do.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start playing a song
2. Press your global hotkey for Next (or cause the next song to be played by any other means, it’s all the same)

OBSERVED RESULT
The next song starts playing as expected, but the OSD that appears is showing the current volume for some reason.

EXPECTED RESULT
The OSD should display the song title instead, which it correctly does when a song ends and a new one starts, but the problem occurs if the song changes due to a user action.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 5.13.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.50.0
Qt Version: 5.11.1
ALSA is being used, no PulseAudio, if this matters. Phonon backend is GStreamer.
