SUMMARY
When start typing on desktop after login - first letters of typed query isn't entering into KRunner text field.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Login into Plasma Wayland.
2. Type some query on desktop - for example 'qwe'.

OBSERVED RESULT
Only letter 'e' appears in KRunner text field.

EXPECTED RESULT
All search query appears in KRunner text field - same as in X.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: KDE neon Developer Edition
KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.80
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.53.0
Qt Version: 5.11.2
Kernel Version: 4.15.0-39-generic 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
After closing KRunner and typing on desktop second time and subsequent times - all characters are entering in KRunner search field.

I cant't confirm such behavior under Wayland.
