ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Try enabling "enhanced media controls" in settings. However, if the website doesn't register any callbacks for nexttrack/previoustrack there's not much we can do. Providing specific adaptors for every possible streaming website is outside the scope of this extension.

There is no such item anywhere in the settings to be found.

Come on, there is only half a dozen popular streaming services available and only 3 of them are worth noticing (Spotify, Tidal, Pandora, in no particular order). If you do not want to support none of them then what's the point of bothering with releasing this widget?

By the way, Spotify web player does not trigger Plasma media player widget to show up at all, so I guess it is hopeless.

Sorry for bothering you and have a nice day.
