Hi! Can it be that the new (Okular from Applications 18.12) typewriter annotation tool is what you want? https://docs.kde.org/trunk5/en/kdegraphics/okular/annotations.html https://phabricator.kde.org/D15204 "Typewriter features opaque letters on a transparent background, so that it is useful to fill noninteractive forms." Thanks in advance for your answer.
Viva Okular! Thank you so much I just noticed this: It looks like this is a duplicate of: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=397991 According to the comment by Tobias, the link mentioned ( https://community.kde.org/GSoC/2018/StatusReports/DileepSankhla ) is exactly what I mean. This is the same one you kindly referenced Yuri. So why not make it upstream?

(In reply to el from comment #2) > So why not make it upstream? It is already, and will be released with KDE Applications 18.12. If you want to try earlier you can build Okular master.
