Description Sefa Eyeoglu 2018-11-25 15:17:48 UTC
SUMMARY
When "deleting" applications that have been installed system-wide via KMenuEdit it makes them inaccessible afterwards. An unexperienced user can't restore that application once it was deleted. Therefore application launchers that can't be deleted directly (like when they are in /usr/share/applications) should not have a "Delete" option, but rather should have a "Disable" option. There should be a way to enable the disabled applications.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open kmenuedit
2. Look for some application launcher, that can't be deleted without root.
3. Delete it via the context-menu

OBSERVED RESULT
The application launcher is gone.

EXPECTED RESULT
The application launcher should be hidden.
