SUMMARY
Cannot save rotated image

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Image Editor
2. Transform
3. Free Rotation
4. use two point/automatic method to improve image

OBSERVED RESULT
Image rotates perfectly but option to Save is greyed-out.  Rotated image cannot be saved.  At least some other Transform options work fine.


EXPECTED RESULT
Should have the option to save rotated image.

In her digiKam version there is a problem with the control points. Aver you can take a rotated image with "OK" and then save. Possibly take a screenshot or test the latest digiKam-6.0.0-Beta3:

thanks for the response.  Tried version 5.9.  Same end result.  Rotating then clicking OK, deletes the rotated image, leaving only the original image and no rotated image to save.  This problem also occurs with some other edits. (In reply to Maik Qualmann from comment #1)

You write that the option to save is grayed out. Which option exactly, best with screenshot? Any malfunction of a tool as described here is not reproducible, not even under Windows10.

digiKam 7.0.0 stable release is now published and now available as FlatPak:
