Description Ivan Bordoni 2018-11-23 23:16:45 UTC
SUMMARY:
After downloading from the master branch and installing, I get this and there is no way to solve it

"An instance is already running!, use --replace to restart Latte"

and if I look for the latte process...
ps -A calc | grep latte

 I do not get anything

and if I try the "latte" process I do not get anything so why I'm suggested to use the "--replace" option ?

I tried to install the 0.8 branch but also in this case I get the same error mentioned above

Now, I do not know what happened.
... may be, that I have run install.sh with root privileges

the strange thing is that, although I have tried to delete all traces of latte, described in the "build / install_manifest.txt" using the script "uninstall.sh" something still prevents me from running latte

Your lock file has changed its privileges to root and can not be deleted.

1. Make sure Latte is closed
2. Locate file /tmp/latte-dock.<username>.lock
3. Try to remove that file even as root
4. Restart Latte

Ohhh yeah finally !!! Geek's life, it's so hard without the "latte-dock"

I'm using the "lattedock" and all the applets you've created with great enthusiasm ;)

Thank you so much Psifidotos
