STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open System Settings.
2. Select Application Style - Window Decorations.
3. Return back to all settings.
4. Select for example Workspace Theme - Look And Feel.
5. Choose another than current LnF theme.
6. Return back to all settings.
7. Activate top search field.

OBSERVED RESULT
The search field isn't activating

Does this only happen with decoration KCM, or any QtQuick-based KCM, such as application fonts KCM?

I can't reproduce with decoration kcm or fonts kcm.

Just fixed this recently.
