STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start Notifications KCM.
2. Activate 'Event source' dropdown.
3. Press Down Arrow key one or more times and Return key or just Return key for selection of the dropdown option.

OBSERVED RESULT
Notifications KCM closes

EXPECTED RESULT
Dropdown option is selected, the KCM window stays opened

This is a regression in QtWayland. If this is still reproducible with Qt 5.12.0, I suggest to report it to Qt developers via https://bugreports.qt.io/

The drop-down is supposed to 'eat' bother Enter and Esc keys, so that applications don't receive these keys unintentionally.

I can't reproduce such crash here under Wayland.

Me neither. I guess it eventually got fixed upstream.
