SUMMARY
If I restart the laptop and open the vault mount point I can read the encrypted files even if I have not yet inserted the password in the dedicated plasmoid

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. After closing the vault folder, if I click on the plasmoid the paswword field appears ... and up to this point everything is fine

2. even rebooting or directly open the mount point

3. the content of the secreted folder is always visible ... is it normal?

Do you have the password saved in your KWallet?
Comment 2 Ivan Čukić 2018-11-26 20:43:59 UTC
@Nate

Vaults do not support KWallet. Would kinda defeat the purpose.

You see files after the reboot? This means that the vault was not mounted when you copied the files into the directory.

Do you use encfs or cryfs and which versions?

Which directories (if not secret) and file systems you use for the encrypted storage and the mount point?
