Description Ovidiu D. Niţan 2018-11-19 21:10:28 UTC
Trying to import keyframes into the Affine transition doesn't yeld any result

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add a video track
2. Add Auto Mask effect, select an area to blur, uncheck "Obscure", click on Analyse
3. Add a picture to a video track and add an Affine transition to it
4. Ctrl+click the 1st video track then Ctrl+click the Affine transition in timeline
5. In Affine's Properties section click on Options then click "Import keyframes from clip"
6. The import dialog appears, click "OK"

OBSERVED RESULT
No keyframe was added to Affine

EXPECTED RESULT
Keyframes should be imported

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Linux 4.19.2-1-MANJARO
KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.52.0
Qt Version: 5.11.2

I'm not sure if I'm missing some step here, I was looking at the tutorial at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5xsknddF2E&t=130 and on my side I can't seem to get keyframes populated into the Affine's Properties section at all.

Bug precisely reproduced. No keyframe added. The png or title on top of the video also disappear from the monitor clip.
A previous version of kdenlive installed on the same computer doesn't fail to do the exact same thing.

SOFTWARE/OS
Linux Mint 18.3 cinnamon
KDEnlive version 18.08.3

Yes, this effect is broken. Last version where it works was 17.12.

Hi, the Affine transition is removed in the current versions. A way to achieve this is to use the Transform effect on the image and import the keyframes or if you wish to use a transition you can use Composite and Transform.
