Description leftcrane 2018-11-19 09:28:51 UTC
SUMMARY

Minor.

If any windows go below the panel, they make the stuff on the panel hard to read, even with blur enabled. The panels on the monitor should all turn opaque if any window goes below a given panel.

Useful in the case of a Unity layout, where windows frequently go below the right-hand vertical panel and result in unexpected and distracting colors to be shown inside the panel. Also useful for bottom panels.

Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 18.10

The user could of course just not use transparency, which is what I ended up doing.

TITLE should have been:

"make all latte panels the on a given screen turn opaque if windows go below (not just when maximized or snapped)"

There are plenty ways for this to be solved and I do not fancy the propose solution...

1. the user can use Dodge Active
2. the user can use Dynamic Background to become solid when the window is maximized or snapped...
