SUMMARY Low priority and purely for looks/consistency. It's be nice to have the same shape that Gnome uses for the top panel (but generalized to work for any panel corner. So if you have just a top panel, the left and right outer corners are curved outward. If you have a top panel joined with a left-side dock (like Unity), the topmost outer corner of the dock is also curved outward. The objective is to make the shape circumscribed by the panels resemble a window with rounded titlebar. Created attachment 116401 [details] curved corders it would be the same as gnome: https://www.solvetic.com/uploads/monthly_10_2018/tutorials-7463-0-78798800-1539876483.png imo curved is much nicer than a jagged edge, especially on a unity layout. this won't work as well with complex panel themes. but most themes can can be simplified in the latte dock config. There is also an simple alpha black theme plus control on the kde store that could be used with this: https://www.opendesktop.org/p/1084931/ https://store.kde.org/p/1237963/

sorry, this is too hard to think any solution...
This is on Kwin side, it disables any rounding when a window is maximized.
