Created attachment 116320 [details] screen shot of the wasted title bar SUMMARY I set a small title bar font and small icons, after that the height of title bar decreased, but the margin space in title bar is too much (50%), which is really a waste of space. See attached png. Can we reduce that like MacOS ? Does changing the button size help?
(In reply to Christoph Feck from comment #1) > Does changing the button size help? Set to use medium size button, the height if the title bar doesn't change, the icon get bigger, but the margin around around the title is still too large. If set a bigger font size, the title bar just use more space, and the margin ratio decreased, but a larger title bar is not what I want.
I must admit I don't really see a problem with the attached screenshot. You're basically asking for the titlebar to be like 4 pixels shorter? macOS titlebars have significant padding too.

I set a smaller font (size 7), and now the vision is the same as MacOS. For font size 8, the icons are too small in contrast to the height of title bar. Can we have a setting option for the title bar margin value?
I very much doubt the developers want to add an option for the titlebar padding. You would probably be the only person who would ever use it. :) I'm still not really sure what the actual problem is. The padding doesn't look excessive to me. Closing as RESOLVED INTENTIONAL for now, sorry.
