Description LinG 2018-11-14 09:04:36 UTC
SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open kate with global menus active
2. active the global menu
3. go from left to right through the items starting from `File` all the way to `Help`

OBSERVED RESULT

As you pass the menu item `Bookmarks` the menu closes and the focus returns to the kate main window. The `Bookmarks` entry seems to be empty on my system also

EXPECTED RESULT

That the focus stays on the menu and that you can move all the way from the entry `File` to `Help` but now you can only move from `File` to `Projects` and then if you want to access the other items by keyboard you have to manually select the `Sessions` entry and then you can use the arrow_right key to navigate to the right to the `help` entry.
