Description h6918684 2018-11-04 16:14:18 UTC
SUMMARY
I have a local database with pictures, that are on a NAS (mounted in Windows 10 via network share J:\Pictures\).
When I start digiKam, sometimes it seems to loose synchronization with my pictures (e.g. when network share is not reachable). Then, no albums are ahown. When I restart digiKam with mounted network share, it starts looking for new entries from scratch, which is a VERY time consuming task (as lots of GB of pictures are transferred via network).
When it is finished, my albums are shown as before.
How can this time consuming synchronisation be avoided?
