This is new to beta 2. Just checked it on 27Apr18 beta - and it was OK back then.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click on "Thumbnails" button.

OBSERVED RESULT
1. There is dead space above the panel with thumnails all the way to the top menu bar.
2. Albums view panel on the left goes all the way to the top menu bar as is should

EXPECTED RESULT
1. Thumbnails panel should go all the way up to the top menu bar.

Please, test with 6.0.0 beta3 Linux appimage bundle, which use Qt 5.9.7 and KF5 5.51.

Typically this problem is fixed now.

With new Linux AppImage 6.1.0 pre-release, we use Qt 5.11.3, and the problem is no more reproducible.
