Copying text to clipboard (Ctrl+c or Ctrl+x) on the host will terminate the active RDP session. The text is not actually placed into the clipboard (which could lead to data loss in case Ctrl+x was used and the text field does not support "undo"). Copying text on the client into clipbaord is available on the host as expected. Clipboard text copied before the session gets opened will be available in a newly opened session. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. open a RDP session (to Windows 7 in my case) 2. copy text to clipbaord on the host OBSERVED RESULT The RDP session gets terminated. Text is not copied to clipboard at all. EXPECTED RESULT Text should be available in the clipboard of the host as well as in the client session. SOFTWARE VERSIONS (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.51.0 Qt Version: 5.11.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I'm using Plasma clipboard applet, after copying text and the remote session terminates the applet will show an empty entry.
