In older versions of Plasma, the Icons Only widget had the ability to set the middle-click to move the clicked program to the current desktop. Please consider adding that feature. It makes working with multiple desktops much more fluid to me. SOFTWARE VERSIONS (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.51.0 Qt Version: 5.11.2
But if it is shown in the taskmanager it already is in the current desktop, no?
My task manager is set to show items from all virtual desktops on the same activity so all tasks are on my taskbar at one time. It is handy to be able to switch virtual desktop screens, center click on a task that is on another screen and have it pop over to the current desktop where I can line it up with whatever app I am using on that screen.

I use two monitors with 4 virtual desktops in the Pager widget. If I go from virtual desktop 1 which contains Thunderbird on it to virtual desktop 4, in order to move Thunderbird over to the new virtual desktop, I normally right-click on the Thunderbird icon and choose "Move to Desktop->Move to Current Desktop". I know there are keyboard shortcuts and that I can drag via the Pager widget also. Having the option of center clicking on Thunderbird and it moving to the current virtual desktop would be wonderful. Thank you for taking the time to consider this.
(In reply to Brian Snipes from comment #4) > some more explanations please in order to be sure: You propose a toggler in order to move a task in the current desktop. So the user could be able to use Middle click or modifier+Click, in order to move to current desktop How about with the toggler action to move to AllDesktops ? E.g. Middle Click = Move to Current/All Desktops (The task is moved to current desktop at all cases except if it is already at the current desktop, in that case is assigned to All Desktops) of course the same thing can be needed with a MoveToCurrentActivity action, E.g. Middle Click = Move to Current/All Activities (The task is moved to current activity at all cases except if it is already at the current activity, in that case is assigned to All Activities)
waiting for user response
I don't think I personally would ever use the Show on All Desktops via a middle-click. I would definitely use the Move to Current Desktop.
