Firstly enable "open archives as folder" feature in Dolphin settings:
open Dolphin, click "settings" menu > "configure dolphin..." > "Navigation" section, check "open archives as folder" > click "ok" button.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. have a folder containing some jpg files, rename the files removing their extension
2. select all files, right click on any selected file, select "Compress > Here (as zip/tar.gz)"
3. open the just created compressed file with dolphin

OBSERVED RESULT
Dolphin shows the files inside the compressed file without thumbnail.

EXPECTED RESULT
Dolphin should show the thumbnail of all files.
