Firstly disable the progress tracking in the task manager and system tray following the steps below: Right click on notifications applet in the system tray -> Notifications Settings -> uncheck "Track file transfers and other jobs", click "ok" button. Right click the task manager in the plasma panel, select "configure task manager...", uncheck "Show progress and status information in task buttons", click "ok" button and restart plasma session. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. open dolphin, right click some big compressed file, select "Extract > Extract archive here" 2. focus the window that shows the progress by clicking its entry in the task manager 3. click the down arrow to show the details OBSERVED RESULT no detail about the progress is shown EXPECTED RESULT show details about the operation Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.2 Qt Version: 5.12.0 beta3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.51.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Also there are no details when I compress files.
