Description Johann 2018-10-24 14:15:08 UTC
SUMMARY

Okular uses 60MiB memory when I open a pdf file. However, when I quickly browse the file, by holding down the "PageDown" key on the keyboard, the memory usage quickly soars up. It uses up to 3GiB memory when I page down all the way from page 1 to page 300. When I close the current opening file, the memory usage goes down to 90MiB. Is this behaviour expected?

You can adjust Okular's memory usage and caching behavior in Setting > Configure Okular.
