SUMMARY I have GMail connected to KMail, properly set auth, STARTTLS etc. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Setup SMTP google account 2. Send email 3. KMail doesn't send it and it DOESN'T WARN IT HAS NOT BEEN SENT! OBSERVED RESULT To send it properly EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE VERSIONS (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.14 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.51 Qt Version: 5.11.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I had some problems with akonadi after kde neon installation, I had to install mysql packages etc.
Díky za spolupráci na vyřešení problému. Stejný problém se vyskytuje i u Exchange, chyba je tedy v KMailu.

Can you please: - send the configuration you are using. - open kmail from console and send the output of the console after sending the email. - open (or install first) akonadi console, go to "logging" and enable it. Once enabled, send a new mail. Once mail was sent (or not sent), stop the logging and selected save to file, and attach it.
