SUMMARY
thank you, global menus almost eveywhere work, it's amazing
1. they sometimes do not repect the borders of the screen - i could not screenshot this but it should be eaily reproducible at your side
2. the qt menu in the setting doesn;t more either, more reliably, screenshot attached
3. any chance to get global menus working for corner cases like zotero, emacs etc?

4. do global menus have a keyboard shortcut to open and close them? if not pls could you allow this?

I'm afraid not, since these apps use a completely custom UI. They don't export the menu data anywhere we can use it. Back when Ubuntu supported apps like these, they had custom patches for each app of this kind. That's something distros would have to do; KDE cannot.
