The screen

SUMMARY
When opening Discover today, a message saying "Message recipient disconnected from message bus without replying". I can search for individual items but their icons doesnt show up, just a standar icon

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Discover
2. Blank page with the message
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
No apps

EXPECTED RESULT
A list of featured apps like Blender

This looks like an issue in your distro. PackageKit malfunction maybe?
Please contact Ubuntu and discuss it with them.
