SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. go anywhere in dolphin
2. status bar has space info
3. click on space info
4. menu comes up with apps I may use to deal with space info
5. one of the options is Partitioner

OBSERVED RESULT

Partitioner has no 'Install' option but only a 'visit homepage' option. Going there also doesn't give me a way to install it for my system.

EXPECTED RESULT

Options should either be readily available (i.e. discover should be able to install them) or they should not be shown at all IMO. For partitioner particularly I don't know what to do at all, there's not even a link to sources I could compile (that is of course assuming we expect the user to be able to deal with that, which in my experience we can't)

SOFTWARE VERSIONS
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.51.0
Qt Version: 5.11.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Since Partitioner is actually 'YaST Disk Controller' I am going out on a limb and say this isn't going to be useful on distros where yast as a whole isn't also available.

I can confirm this happens also on Arch.
Comment 2 Justin Zobel 2020-10-26 06:27:33 UTC
Still current. I propose removal of Partitioner from the offered tools.

KDE has it's own Partition Manager.
