SUMMARY
When I press the Meta-key my Application Launcher most likely opens on the second monitor. It should open on the currently active monitor (which is already being tracked by KWin).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect a second monitor
2. Press the meta key

OBSERVED RESULT
Application launcher always opens on the same monitor.

EXPECTED RESULT
The Application launcher that is on the currently active monitor should be activated. If there are two application launchers on one monitor open the one closest to the mouse?

Does each monitor have a panel with an Application Launcher widget on it? Or is there only one panel or widget?

So this isn't really a bug, just a feature request.

AFAIK it works like this right now: 

Launcher 1 on Screen 1 and Launcher 2 on Screen 2.
One of them has been assigned Alt+F1 as their activation shortcut.

Now KWin calls activateLauncherMenu in PlasmaShell, which looks for an application launcher with the shortcut Alt+F1 and activates that one.



I am suggesting, that it works without Alt+F1 being present. It should activate the launcher closest to the mouse, preferably on the same screen. That way I always get the launcher somewhere practical.
