SUMMARY menu radiobuttons and checkboxes do not appear if one starts the generic libreoffice application (which does not have any) and then moves to a specific one (which does have them), e.g. writer. this could also apply to other applications that dynamically change their menues. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open libreoffice generic application 2. Open e.g. a libreoffice writer document OBSERVED RESULT the menu radiobuttons and checkboxes are missing in the global menu but they appear just right in the kwin menu button EXPECTED RESULT the menu radiobuttons and checkboxes should appear just right SOFTWARE VERSIONS (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.14 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.50 Qt Version: 5.11.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This bug is not a duplicate of bug 399623. I cannot reproduce that bug in my system. I do see checkboxes in gimp etc. The bug I'm referring to is more specific about dynamic menues, which bug 399623 is not. Another example, I do see the radiobuttons and checkboxes in libreoffice writer if the application is started that way, that is, without starting first the general libreoffice application.

Yeah, it's the same underlying issue, even if the symptoms and reproducibility are a little bit different.
