- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I was on shoddy public WiFi, which had practically cut out in that moment. I ran "zypper up" in Konsole and tried to cancel it with Ctrl+C. It didn't cancel, instead Konsole seemed to have locked up. So, I launched xkill and clicked on Konsole to kill it. In that moment, the panel disappeared (while Konsole was visually still being displayed) and shortly after the screen updated with Plasma having restarted and Konsole gone.
- Unusual behavior I noticed:
I'm on openSUSE Tumbleweed and have been having issues with it locking up every now and then. The same does not happen on openSUSE Leap 15.0. I had these problems on Tumbleweed since early 2018, and had been using Leap since then. No idea why it's locking up or if this is really related to this crash. Normally, the application first freezes, then shortly after Plasma or X.org freezes, then I can still switch to a TTY, but even that may lock up. Sometimes, it recovers after 10 seconds or so, sometimes I have to force-reboot.
