SUMMARY

Trying to start Spectacle causes kwin_wayland to freeze and segfault. Probably related Qt 5.12 Beta changes.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Upgrade to Qt 5.12 Beta
2. Start Plasma Wayland session
3. Start Spectacle

OBSERVED RESULT

kwin_wayland freezes and segfaults.

EXPECTED RESULT

Spectacle should start normally.

SOFTWARE VERSIONS

KDE Plasma Version: 5.14
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.50
Qt Version: 5.12 Beta

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hardware ~ RX 580 with Mesa master and LLVM master.

Crashes should have a backtrace otherwise it's very hard to match them up with anything.

And it doesn't crash here
