Created attachment 115526 [details] screenshot showing the bug in Device Notifier plasmoid SUMMARY Plasmoids are not colorschema aware. With some colorspaces, this leads to extremely poor contrast which in many cases render the plasmoid functionality unusable. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Adopt a colorschema as this: https://store.kde.org/p/1265969/ and a desktop theme such as this: https://store.kde.org/p/1252412/ 2. Try using a plasmoid or KRunner (for example make a quick calculation). 3. OBSERVED RESULT Using the colorschema noted above, the selector color is dark blue and the text color is black, creating an extremely poor contrast. EXPECTED RESULT The text color should change to that of a selected text, just as menu items of Plasma applications. SOFTWARE VERSIONS (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.13.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.50.0 Qt Version: 5.11.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Attached screenshots showing the bug in Device Notifier plasmoid and in KRunner. Also attached: a screenshot of a regular Plasma 5 application showing the expected/desired behavior.
