> Open or save some file in Firefox or LibreOffice with KDE native file dialog Firefox does not use the native KDE file dialog. Recent versionf of LibreOffice use it without KIO support. To be absolutely sure, can you reproduce the issue using the open/save dialog from a KDE app such as Kate or Gwenview?

Please attach screenshots of the Firefox and LibreOffice file pickers that lack disks, and a Kate or Gwenview file picker that has them.

Thank you. The dialogs in Firefox and Libreoffice are actually being nice to you by only showing you locations that they can access. Observe also that only Kate has the Network place. The missing places require KIO support in the apps themselves and won't be visible until and unless LibreOffice and Firefox gain KIO support.
