Description Ahmed Tawfik 2018-09-30 07:21:47 UTC
SUMMARY
Whenever the phone's screen is off, KDE Connect gets disconnected and I have to wake the phone and launch KDE Connect again, only to have it disconnected after another a couple of minutes of screen off. WiFi is set to always on, and KDE Connect App is set to ignored in Battery Optimization, but still issue persists. Tried on two different WiFi networks (Home and Work).

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Lock your phone or wait for screen to turn off and wait for a couple of min.
2. The phone icon on GSConnect gets grayed out and connection is lost
3. Unlock the phone and open KDE Connect and connection is established again

OBSERVED RESULT
The phone icon on GSConnect gets grayed out and connection is lost

EXPECTED RESULT
The phone stays connected and I could do all functions even if screen turned off or phone locked.

SOFTWARE VERSIONS
(available in About System)
Gnome 3.28.3 on Ubuntu 18.04, using GSConnect 12
