The same occurs when trying to use CalDAV with the German provider 'Web.de'.

Additionally, items created in Korganizer
 - cannot be deleted via the Web interface
 - produce sync errors on Windows CalDAVsync, trying to sync them to MS Outlook.
The CalDAVsync error messages are related to both, COUNT and UNTIL, being used, whereas only one should be specified. This is also the case for non-recurring events.

This bug could be related to the problems reported in #387195 and #328655.

As note to the last comment:

The problem seems to be an error while implementing the RFC into kcalcore:
**********
From the RFC2445
; either UNTIL or COUNT may appear in a 'recur',
; but UNTIL and COUNT MUST NOT occur in the same 'recur'

The UNTIL rule part defines a date-time value which bounds the
recurrence rule in an inclusive manner. If the value specified by
UNTIL is synchronized with the specified recurrence, this date or
date-time becomes the last instance of the recurrence. If specified
as a date-time value, then it MUST be specified in an UTC time
format. If not present, and the COUNT rule part is also not present,
the RRULE is considered to repeat forever.
**********
Anyhow I don't think, it will be fixed soon. Maybe using Thunderbird would be the better solution...

Yes, it looks like I'll be better off using Thunderbird.

\begin{rant}
That's the sad thing about KDE: The desktop gets constantly more and more polished and refined, but essential applications like Kontact, Konqueror, a video player, a music player, etc. are badly neglected or given up completely.

What's the point in having the slickest desktop environment and then have to run all essential applications from another (GTK) one.

You are free to take over maintainership for (or help with) the applications where the main developers have left 10 years ago. You are also free to use non-KDE applications, if they are better maintained. What our community doesn't like is useless ranting, see https://www.kde.org/code-of-conduct/

(In reply to Christoph Feck from comment #4)

As I'm not a coder, there isn't anything I could do to actually address the issue in question with korganizer.

Since I clearly marked my rant as such, nobody should feel offended by it. All I intended was to express my dissatisfaction as a user that KDE, while being the most elegant and polished desktop environment, was lacking essential native applications. The problem with non-KDE applications is that they are less well integrated with the desktop environment (albeit there is quite some effort to integrate Firefox).
The question is whether the focus is in the right place. A lot of effort seems to go into less essential (IMHO) stuff like plasma mobile or kitinerary, which are only relevant to a relatively small number of people, while essential applications like the KDE PIM suite are poorly maintained or entirely unmaintained.

To give it a more positive spin: Maybe KDE e.V. should make a ranking poll among users to prioritise which applications they regard as most important.
