SUMMARY dolphin refuses to refesh the items when in the same tab a kio ftp view was opened. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. open a folde for watching (e.g. downloads), and download/copy some files into it. 2. during copy, use the same tab to connect to a ftp server (e.g. ftp://ftp.inode.at) - just connect - you do not need to download anything. 3. Use the "back" button as long as you need to go back to the previous folder (e.g. downloads). Delete/move/copy some files into this folder, no changes will be displayed. EXPECTED RESULT Dolphin should display changes. ACTUAL RESULT No display of changes. Note : For my point of view there is some still some "switch" activated since in ftp mode dolphin will not get informed on changes on ftp server, and when you use the back button to view the local folder again it does not "reset" this flag. Dolphin must be closed and re-opened so that the changes appear again. SOFTWARE VERSIONS (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.12.6 KDE Frameworks Version: KDE Frameworks 5.47.0 Qt Version: Qt 5.9.5 (kompiliert gegen 5.9.5) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I can't reproduce on current Dolphin from git master. Johann can you please confirm if this is still an issue for you?
