Sometimes I get emails with more than one images in the attachments. It would be nice to have the option to open all the pictures at once in Gwenview or so.
Well, That's already possible. If you use a recent KMail version (>= 18.04.0), install the kdepim-addons package (name may differ), enable the expert plugin (in settings / plugins). Once done, restart KMail and in the "Message" menu, select the "Show message structure" option. When a message has files attached, they are shown below the message body, you can select the ones you want and RMB / Open
thanks for reply, is it an interesting feature, but not quite what I had imagined. Now I have an extra sub window and the screen on my laptop is not very big. From my side, I was hoping for something like this: Kmail save the attachments all in the same temp directory, so I can browse this directory with Gwenview, but without extra subwindow and without the need to selecting all attachments (I know I'm a little lazy). Now I need to right click for context menu, select save attachments, select save directory, click open directory, click on first image to open Gwenview.
