SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create two or more Vaults, with different names, regardless of other settings 2. Logout /restart plasma/ & Login again EXPECTED RESULT The Vaults created are expected to be there, either in chronological order, or sorted by some /ANY or configurable/ criteria. ACTUAL RESULT The Vaults created appear sorted in a non-sensible way, although patterns could be emerging, not exactly sure. What's sure is that they're not at least sorted in a chronological order, which ultimately makes getting lost in between more than 10 Vaults is VERY likely. Vault status doesn't appear to be relevant to sorting. SOFTWARE VERSIONS (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.12.6 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.44.0 Qt Version: 5.9.5 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Kernel version has been upped to the latest. Kubuntu version affected are 18.04 (installed) & 18.10 (live bootable)
Does the ordering change on every login? Or is the ordering (by whatever criteria is getting used) at least consistent?
Yes, @Nate, ordering changes on every login, but can't say if it's related to opening/closing certain Vaults or just the sole act of entering/leaving the the current session.
Thanks for the info!
