SUMMARY we can't switch desktop if tabs are open but not selected. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. chrome on desktop-1 with 2 tab is open with name test1 and test2 2. test1 is open and test2 also open but not selected . 3. we switch to desktop 2 to do something else. 4. open Krunner on desktop-2 and select test2 tab , this doesn't switch tab to desktop 1 and test2 tab EXPECTED RESULT should switch to desktop that chrome is open and select that tab which is open but not selected . ACTUAL RESULT its switch tab but doesn't switch desktop . SOFTWARE VERSIONS (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.13.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.50 Qt Version: 5.11 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Not sure if that is a bug on our side or Chrome's. I just ask Chrome to activate the window but perhaps KWin doesn't let it. Not sure if an application has to ask for that specifically, or how all of that works.

Same problem is still here on Chrome and Firefox. Isn't it possible to call the (already existing) krunner function that switches windows after making the browser switch tabs ?
