Description wkg28406 2018-09-22 00:28:16 UTC
SUMMARY
krita-4.2.0-pre-alpha-127857b-x86_64.appimage
Tested with fresh configuration (removing existing ~/.local/share/krita, ~/.config/krita*)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Krita
2. Open brush editor (F5, it is not accessible by clicking in toolbar unless a new document is created)
3. Click arrow on far left to expand brush presets
4. Close out of brush settings and exit Krita
5. Repeat step 1 and 2

EXPECTED RESULT
Brush settings panel retains UI setting of expanding brush presets

ACTUAL RESULT
Brush settings panel does not save menu state on re-open of krita

SOFTWARE VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 5.13.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.50.0
Qt Version: 5.11.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Due to the fact that other settings and UI elements are saved, it would make sense to have this also be saved. There may be other elements of the UI as a whole that have the same behavior.

Well, we do have many more places where Krita doesn't remember the last used state of the ui. Maybe we should have something generic for that.
