Currently, on KDE Neon, I see two different ways of "searching applications" on the desktop: 

- Using Plasma Search (either via ALT+TAB or via the "Plasma Search" mini window) lets me search across a set of configured search providers (not sure this is the right wording).

- Using the "Search" in kicker (which is toggled using META key) apparently only searches using a subset of the providers available in Plasma Search.

Desirable behavior would be to have the full Plasma Search available within the Kicker search bar?
