Description Nikolai Maziashvili 2018-09-16 15:37:53 UTC
Setting up caldav resource goes without problems. All events are synced just fine. Events created on the server or other calendar client getting synced as wel. Changes to those events too... to make story short - everything works fine except when i delete event in Korganizer that event is removed only from Korganizer... not from the server.
How to reproduce:
- create event (doesn't matter from which client)
- check on other clients and/or server if event synced
- remove event from Korganizer.
event is still present on server...and on all other clients of course.

I can imagine that severity of the ticket may be exaggerated, but this bug is long standing:
https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1088249
and nothing getting done on that.

PS i have tested this issue on openSUSE Tumbleweed, KDE Neon (User Edition) and Kubuntu (18.04) systems. On all systems issue is present.

I can't reproduce this bug, as it is presented. I use a NextCloud calendar and sync it in KOrganizer as CalDav. If I create a single event and then remove it in KOrganizer, it gets deleted in the server (and all the other clients) too.

I only have something similar to your reported problem when it is a recurring event, and one of the ocurrences has been modified. Then, if I delete all of them in Korganizer, all of them do disappear in Korganizer, but the modified ocurrence persists in the server. However, I assume this is due to the problems Korganizer has with recurrences, not specifically with events deletion.
