I go to the "Search" tab. I select "Current Search" and then "Edit". In the search window, I click on "Reset". So, I start a new search. I then select an album in "Search for pictures in". I click on "OK". The result window is empty. For example. I have a directory called "Negatives Pierre". The search does not return any photos. Yet there are dozens.
Start digiKam on a console, reproduce the dysfunction, and report all debug traces visible. Gilles Caulier
I can not reproduce the problem. You are really using digiKam-6.0.0 packages from Kubuntu? That Kubuntu has already created 6.0.0 packages, I can not really imagine now. Maik

You are searching for (Albums.relativePath LIKE "%Négatifs Pierre%" AND NOT Albums.relativePath LIKE "%Pierre%") and in addition to file formats. That can not provide any results. Can you take a look, if File format actually does not reset on Reset to "All". Maik
After 3 weeks of work, i finally completed the compilation of AppImage using Qt 5.11.3 + QWebkit 5.212. New 6.1.0 pre-release AppImage bundle can be found here (64 bits only for the moment) : https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Please check if this bugzilla entry still valid. Thanks in advance Gilles Caulier
digiKam 7.0.0 stable release is now published and now available as FlatPak: https://www.digikam.org/news/2020-07-19-7.0.0_release_announcement/ We need a fresh feedback on this file using this version. Thanks in advance Gilles Caulier
With next digiKam 7.4.0 release, AppImage bundle is compiled using a more recent Linux Mageia 7.1 host. Last stable Qt 5.15.2 and KF5 5.84 are used. ImageMagick codec 7 and libav 58 (ffmpeg) are used to supports extra image and video formats. https://i.imgur.com/XV1tZkL.png Please check if problem still reproducible with this version available as pre-release here: https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Gilles Caulier

Pierre, What's about this file using current 8.2.0 AppImage Linux bundle ? It's reproducible ? https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Note: bundle is now based on Qt 5.15.11 and KDE framework 5.110. Thanks in advance Gilles Caulier
Hi all, The digiKam 8.4.0 Appimage bundle pre-release is now based on last modern frameworks Qt 6.7.0 and KDE 6.2.0. File can be downloaded at usual place : https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Take a care : the bundle is named with the suffix "-Qt6" not "-Qt5". This bundle is compiled under Ubuntu 22.04 and require a Linux with GlibC version >= 2.35 to run. Can you reproduce the dysfonction with this version? Thanks in advance Gilles Caulier
Hi Pierre, The new AppImage bundle 8.7.0 pre-release for Linux based on Qt 6.8.3 is online at usual place : https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Let's me know if the problem remain. Best regards Gilles Caulier

I tried again, and it works perfectly. This ticket can therefore be closed. digiKam-8.6.0-Qt6-x86-64.appimage I apologize for the delay in responding. Sincerely, Pierre Lepage
