start Wayland session
right click your wallpaper, click "Add widgets..."
click filter icon at the top of the widgets explorer

Under X11 the filter menu is closed when I click its icon again, when I press ESC, when I click the widget explorer or outside it and obviously when I select some menu option.

Under Wayland I need to select some menu option or close the widget explorer.

Same bug in plasma 5.15 beta.

And plasma crashes when I right click my desktop after close the widget explorer while the filter menu is open.

Currently the filter menu closes together the widgets explorer when I press ESC, filter menu also closes when I click again on the filter icon after opening by the first time. If I open the filter menu again, click on filter icon no longer closes it. Click on the widgets explorer or outside it are still not closing the filter menu.

Seems to be fixed now.
