Kate without the menu bar

Kate seems to be working properly, but the menu bar and thus the menu seems to be missing.

I can't bring it back with Ctrl+M, and katerc says "Show Menu Bar=true".

The same issue is affecting KWrite.

I need to add another development: It turns out the menu bar is also gone in Kate now when I'm back in X11...

Also, I'm using Kate with Vi-mode, if that helps any.

I should take this one back. It's not a problem with Kate, but some problem with Kwin or frameworks, I think.

The menus are gone from all Qt applications, as far as I can tell.

Reporting this in another bug. This one can probably be closed.
