Steps: 1. Add Icon-only Task Manager to desktop. 2. Minimize some window(s). 3. Watch animation direction. 4. Move the widget to some other place on desktop. 5. Minimize some window(s) again. Actual: 1. Windows are minimizing to place of previous position of the Icons-only Task Manager. 2. Removing the widget from desktop doesn't make difference. Operating System: KDE neon Developer Edition KDE Plasma Version: 5.13.5 Qt Version: 5.11.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.51.0 Kernel Version: 4.15.0-34-generic OS Type: 64-bit Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i5-8250 U CPU @ 1.60GHz Memory: 7,7 GiB of RAM
That's a bug in the widget(?). It doesn't update icon geometry. Also, I think that's not a Wayland-specific bug. :-)
Same bug in plasma 5.14 beta, Arch Linux. Both Wayland and X11 sessions are affected.
This issue report is quite old. Can you please confirm, that it still persists with KDE 5.23?
