Description Matěj Laitl 2018-09-09 20:15:12 UTC
Hi, one Wayland-specific.

Steps to reproduce:
 1. Use Wayland session (kwin_wayland)
 2. Set your panel to "Windows can cover"
 3. Launch a maximized application
 4. Move your mouse to edge of the screen where the panel is

Expected results:
Panel pops up. This is the way it works under X session.

Actual results:
Panel does not show up. You need to move windows away from panel to see it. It does not matter whether the covering window is native Wayland or XWayland one.

After setting the panel to "Auto hide" it works correctly - it pops up even with maximized applications.

Also tested on Plasma-git packages on Manjaro, same problem.

Thanks a bunch! This combined with support for primary clipboard makes Plasma Wayland smooth for me. Sending lots of love. <3
