Description Marco Parillo 2018-09-07 11:18:11 UTC
On one of my computers, sometimes when I switch tabs, I see the window title change, but the contents of the browser window does not. I have seen this on Chromium occasionally also.

Comment 1 David Rosca 2018-09-08 05:42:27 UTC
Does it also happen without compositing window manager?
Comment 2 Marco Parillo 2018-09-08 14:25:21 UTC
Thank you for your prompt response. I am aware this is a bad bug report as I cannot reproduce it reliably. I also am not sure what a compsiting window manager is. My Compositor - Systems Settings window shows me running Open GL 2.0, and I am running kwin_x11:

$ ps -ef | grep kwin
mparillo 893 874 2 09:58 ? 00:00:34 /usr/bin/kwin_x11
Comment 3 David Rosca 2018-09-09 07:26:17 UTC
You can disable KWin compositing with Alt+Shift+F12
Comment 4 Justin Zobel 2020-10-25 04:49:15 UTC
Marco is this still an issue? If so can you please test without a compositor?
Comment 5 Marco Parillo 2020-11-06 15:25:17 UTC
It has been a while since I have seen this. I can close this.
