dolphin pdf thumnail bug

Ever since i migrated to kde (kubuntu) i been experiencing a letdown in dolphin. Some of my pdf documents appear double paned on the saved thumbnail. As you can see in my attached photo, look very closely at the file manager and see dolphins faults(the pdf document named "Advanced Backend Code Optimization").I checked google and nobody has been experiencing this so i guess im the only person. The daunting reality is that i went to the kubuntu irc support channel and to my knowledge nobody to their humanity had experience with another dolphin thumbnail viewer, so as a beginner to kde can anybody help fix this bug so no other person go through hardship like i have been facing?

I have found exactly one PDF on my machine that exhibits similar behavior, I'll try to poke the PDF thumbnailer a bit

Just calls into "gs" as far as I can tell, might be a GhostScript bug
Comment 3 Andrew Crouthamel 2018-09-05 14:55:39 UTC
I'll mark confirmed since Kai has the same issue.
Comment 4 Alex Cherepanov 2018-11-28 03:00:22 UTC
Perhaps, "Advanced Backend Code Optimization" file includes 2 pages per frame. Little can be done about this bug without your sample file.
